David Michael Mitchell   Pat Morris
David Michael Mitchell, known as D. Michael Art, enjoys painting with the deep colors bound to turn heads in any room. Please visit and view many wildlife close ups.   I am a full-time artist living in CT. I work primarily in pastel; my ability to ‘capture’ life on paper is a humbling gift. My inspiration is drawn upon a lifetime of observation in the woods and natural areas of New England and beyond, where I have been fortunate enough to catch glimpses of the wildlife that find their way into my paintings. The balance and harmony of the natural world brings more ‘rhyme and reason’ to my world and evolves at my easel. The expression of these experiences and observations with my pastels is a lifelong challenge.
